Solar Energy in Action

Switching to solar isn’t just a trend – it’s a necessity.
Together with our partner ME Green, we’re accelerating the shift to clean energy at Matelec and reducing our reliance on fossil fuels.
With the installation of 3 MWp of solar panels and mega batteries with a capacity of 2.4 MWh, our facility will now rely mostly on renewable energy, allowing us to shut down generators up to 60% of the time.

The impact?
1. Over 4,000 MWh of clean energy produced annually
2. More than 1 million liters of diesel saved
3. A yearly reduction of over 2,600 tons of CO₂ emissions and a smaller carbon footprint
4. Less noise pollution and reduced heat released into the environment
